Gast, a leading manufacturer of pneumatic air products and systems, needed to refresh and update its website, and streamline their digital experience for their OEM customers who were using other online resources to find technical and product support and purchase new products and accessories.
We worked with Gast to reimagine every aspect of their digital platform, from UX strategy to content creation and visual design language. A modular design approach allowed us to quickly establish a consistent design language across all sections and content. By developing a component library, we were able to easily switch out design modules, content and functionality to meet different page requirements. This approach allowed us to quickly move from wireframes to a working prototype.
In addition to streamlining the product section hierarchy and IA, we reduced overall clicks by half regardless of the device used. We also created a product finder that allowed users to search by specific product attributes and end use. The result is an incredibly flexible and visually engaging digital platform that allows users to easily find specific products, support and application information.
