Sunbrella tasked us with promotional tactics to celebrate their primary sponsorship of the 2016 U.S. Olympic Sailing team. Instead, we created a year long, content-rich digital campaign. Users were invited into the lives of 11 sailors, learning what it takes to compete at the highest level and what drives these athletes to sacrifice everything for a chance at a spot on the 2016 US Olympic Sailing team. At the heart of the campaign was an interactive microsite, where users could take a deeper dive into the sport of sailing, learn more about the U.S. Sailing team, and follow the athletes' personal journeys as they trained and competed around the globe. The campaign concluded with an hour-long documentary, that we produced entirely in-house.
